Bestact is, as its name implies, “the best contact”: a high power reed switch with outstanding capability, long life, and extremely high contact reliability in harsh environments.

With its unique contact structure, the Bestact BRE type in particular has the industry’s largest carry current of 13A, and offers a contact capacity of 150W and insulation resistance of 10¹³Ω, in a compact size.

Since our launch of Bestact in 1978, we have produced a total of 50 million units. Bestact outperforms other products with its high performance and remarkable reliability, enduring hundreds of millions of cycles of opening and closing. Moreover, Bestact can withstand severe conditions such as high temperatures, dust, vibration, and water.

As a result, Bestact finds extensive use in critical applications such as railways, steel mills, electric power facilities, and lifts (cranes and elevators), where uninterrupted operation is vital for stability. Notably, in the railway sector, Bestact holds the top position in Japan, holding a 50% market share and enjoying significant market recognition.
