In 1952, SUNCO SPRING developed a constant force spring and launched it under the name “CONSTON®” on account of its characteristics (constant force). Its unique features quickly attracted the attention of various industries, and it has since been used in a wide variety of products.
Today, “CONSTON” has an undisputed reputation as a highly regarded constant force spring and is used extensively worldwide. Our products can be found in a wide range of fields from stationery to home appliances, housing equipment, automobiles, medical equipment, semiconductor devices, construction machinery, ships, satellites, and more. We offer many standard products so that CONSTON’s unique features can be appreciated by many customers.
We not only manufacture springs, but also have a design, development, and research department for mechanisms and devices that use springs. This enables us to meet a wide range of customer needs.
Springs are also capable of reducing environmental problems that have become a global issue, and have the potential to play a role as an energy-saving power source in place of electricity, gas, oil, etc.
Our basic approach is to design and manufacture springs with the customer’s perspective in mind. We go beyond the conventional concept that “springs are parts” and strive to develop springs that can be incorporated into other parts and products and function seamlessly together.
