Founded in 1951, Aion Co., Ltd. is a sponge manufacturer located in Japan and a forerunner in today’s high-tech industrial trends, such as PCB, LCD, glass, hard disk, semiconductor, and cleanroom peripheral devices.
Aion (previous Kanebo) has produced porous material for PVA sponges since 1952, and for the last 13 years has also been producing new kinds of sponges: PU (Polyurethane), PO (Polyolefin), EVA and PE sponges.
These sponge materials are very special and different from other kinds of traditional sponges. All of Aion’s sponges have cells that are continually open with an integrated structure, allowing them to absorb water quickly and retain water very well. They are also lint-free.
