Maruzen Kogyo Co., Ltd. has been manufacturing various tools and machines for more than 65 years since 1954, when we manufactured Japan’s first portable gas powered rock drill.
In the spirit of our company motto, “CREATION,” we aim to be a comprehensive development company that provides high-quality tools and tailored solutions to our clients.
We have three main manufacturing operations: small hydraulic tools for construction, automotive inspection machines, and packing and strapping machines.
With the knowledge and technology we have cultivated over the years in these three fields, we maintain more than 90% of the Japanese market share for hydraulic hand-held tools.
We have been expanding the Maruzen brand in the domestic market through our 10 branches and over 5,000 distributors. In addition to sales in Japan, over the years we have exported our hydraulic products to more than 55 countries around the world.
Maruzen is a manufacturer of finished products that handles market research, development, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service all in-house. As a result, we gain a lot of valuable information through our own brand development from the market. This information is shared within the company and utilized for future development.
